Why does my DB board keep tripping?
Usually because of a fault on one circuit or appliance: water in an outdoor plug, a failing geyser element, a damaged cable or an overloaded circuit. Switching appliances off one at a time can narrow it down, but finding the real cause needs proper testing. Our guide explains why a DB board keeps tripping.
Is it safe to keep resetting a tripped breaker?
Not if it keeps tripping. A breaker or earth leakage trips to protect you from fire or shock. If it trips again after one reset, leave it off and call an electrician.
