Magalieskruin lies mostly on the Magaliesberg itself (kruin is Afrikaans for crest), south of Sefako Makgatho Drive, with Montana Park to the east and Wonderboom to the west. It is a suburb of jacaranda-lined streets close to the Kolonnade shopping centre, and its homes sit high on the ridge in the path of Pretoria’s summer thunderstorms.
