Why outdoor circuits give trouble
Gate motors, security lights and electric fences sit outside in sun, rain and dust, often at the end of a long cable. Water in a fitting, a perished cable or a loose connection is the usual reason they trip the earth leakage or stop working.
We test the circuit to find the real fault, then repair it with weatherproof fittings and connections suited to outdoor use, so it keeps working through the storm season.

Why does my gate motor stop working after a storm?
Often a surge has damaged the motor board or the supply, or water has got into a connection. We test the supply first so you know whether it is electrical or the motor itself.
Why do my outside lights trip the earth leakage?
Usually water in a light fitting, a junction box or a damaged cable. We find which one and replace it with a weatherproof fitting.
Can you install sensor lights?
Yes. We fit motion-sensor and dusk-to-dawn lights and wire them safely to SANS 10142.
Do you repair gate motor mechanics?
We handle the electrical side: the supply, cabling and connections. For gearbox or mechanical repairs you will need a gate motor specialist.
